Das Certificate of Origin<\/a> bezeichnet ins Deutsche übersetzt ein Ursprungszeugnis. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein Dokument, welches im internationalen Warenverkehr zum Einsatz kommt und sowohl das Ursprungsland als auch das Produktionsland der betroffenen Ware bestätigt. Das Certificate of Origin<\/a> wird von den Herstellern selbst beantragt. Ausgestellt werden die Ursprungszeugnisse in der Regel von den dafür zuständigen Industrie- und Handelskammern des jeweiligen Landes.<\/p>\n

Die Ursprungszeugnisse werden in dem internationalen Handelsverkehr von einigen Empfängerländern verlangt und sollen dabei unterschiedlichen Zwecken dienen. Dazu gehört unter anderem die Kontrolle der Warenströme sowie auch die Umsetzung von Antidumping-Maßnahmen. Auch für die Überwachung von Beschränkungen und Kontingenten beim Import der Güter ist das Certificate of Origin<\/a> wichtig.<\/p>\n

Unterschied zwischen präferenziell und nichtpräferenziell<\/b><\/p>\n

Bei den Ursprungszeugnissen wird zwischen präferenziell und nichtpräferenziell unterschieden. Die nichtpräferenziellen Certificates of Origin werden primär ausgestellt und dokumentiert.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Damit wird gewährleistet, dass die Ware nicht von einer sogenannten Zollpräferenz bezüglich eines besonderen bilateralen bzw. multilateralen Abkommens betroffen ist. Die präferenziellen Certificates of Origin gewährleisten hingegen die Zugehörigkeit einer Ware zu einem solchen Abkommen, was zur Folge hat, dass diese vom Zoll<\/a> benötigt werden, um die Güter bzw. Produkte schlussendlich zuordnen zu können.<\/p>\n

Ursprungszeugnisse bei US-Flugzeugimporten<\/b><\/p>\n

Das sogenannte Manufacturer´s Certificate of Origin<\/a> gehört zu den besonderen Ursprungszeugnissen. Dieses wird für die bis dato noch nicht zugelassenen Neufahrzeuge in den USA benötigt. Dieses Ursprungszeugnis hat allerdings die gleiche Aufgabe wie das Certificate of Title, welches für die zugelassenen und bereits genutzten Fahrzeuge eingesetzt wird. Das Manufacturer´s Certificate of Origin<\/a> wird bei der Verschiffung<\/a> der Fahrzeuge in den USA sowie dem Import und der Zulassung hier in Deutschland benötigt. Ohne das Vorzeigen der Dokumente kann das Fahrzeug also nicht in Deutschland zugelassen werden, sodass es dringend erforderlich ist, sich im Vorfeld darum zu kümmern.
