As a medium-sized, internationally networked freight forwarder, we have been a competent partner for our customers since 1971. With 90 employees at 3 locations, we generate 40 million euros in turnover with a focus on sea and air freight. Every year we transport around 20,000 containers by sea, with a focus on imports from Asia. We continue to grow and are looking for as of now an Import Sea Freight Clerk (m/f/d).

Your tasks

• Management of shipments to and from overseas in consultation with customers and overseas offices
• Transfer of shipping data to the Cargosoft forwarding programme
• Notification to customers
• Processing of import orders
• Preparation of customs clearances
• Create releases to shipping companies
• Disposition of subsequent deliveries to customers in coordination with customers and contractors
• Processing of complaints
• Billing of logistics services
• Control of incoming invoices

What sets you apart

• Completed training as a businessman for forwarding and logistics services (m/f/d)
• First professional experience in sea freight import
• High customer orientation and ability to work in a team
• Written and spoken English
• IT skills in MS Office and ATLAS system
