With transit times of 14-16 days from door to door, the transit time of the train can be reduced by up to 2 weeks. In comparison to the train, hazardous goods such as batteries or temperature-controlled goods can also be transported by truck.

Along with the lower freight rates compared to air freight, other advantages are the independence from airports or railway stations, as well as the flexibility of departure days, which can be determined individually.

Various trailers are also available, such as mega trailers with up to 100 CBMrefrigerated lorries or low-loaders for heavy and large goods. This method can also be used to transport goods that cannot be moved by ship or rail, or can only be moved at great expense, for example lithium-ion batteries or other hazardous goods or medical products such as masks or protective equipment.

In order to guarantee short transit times, all transports are carried out with two drivers. Monitoring is ensured with the continuous use of GPS and during every transport - daily updates on the location of the trucks are therefore part of the standard service. The route from China to Europe is divided into two sections. The first leg in China is carried out by Chinese hauliers up to the national border at Alanshankou; the second section of the route, which is up to 11,000 kilometres long, is then carried out by our partners from Belarus, who operate the route to Western Europe with their own trucks.

Export customs clearance

Our offices in China take professional care of export customs clearance in China and discuss with your suppliers which documents are required. Export customs clearance is part of the transport package and is already prepared during the pre-carriage phase so that no delays occur during transhipment. As soon as the truck reaches the border to Europe, a T-document is created, which is then sent to our customs department to prepare for import customs clearance. This means that the import customs clearance of the truck can be prepared before arrival and the truck can be cleared through customs as soon as it arrives at its final destination.
